Buschwhackers/King Biscuit Saturday

Chip and the Buschwhackers were once as big as any Inland area artist has been. Smoke em if you got em you can count on Chip and the Buschwhackers to do the same.
A quick internet search for Paul Cowie and King Biscuit will yield a ton of leads. All of which lead to anything but the legndary piece of music history that was so good they had TV shows and magazines named after them. Make no mistake, it's on when King biscuit take the stage at the Spokane Blues Festival on February 3rd. This band features Guitar great Paul Cowie and standout vocalist Charles Bumpas, who hails from right here in the inland Northwest.

Vicci Martinez Headlined '06 Fest

At the incredibly early age of five Vicci Martinez was already playing music. By the time she was 15 she was doing shows at medium sized venues. Vicci has a strange blend of youthful exuberance and an unescapable feeling that she has already lived many lifetimes.
With legions of corporate-fueled, musical puppets littering our stages and airwaves, originality has become virtually extinct within the landscape of today’s popular music. Fortunately there’s Vicci Martinez. Her unique sound and honest delivery are breathing life back into the lungs of a stale industry on the verge of collapsing face first like a suffocating giant.
Now just 21 years of age Vicci has won over audiences all over the world while sharing the stage with an impressive list of stars including; Walter Trout, Jonny Lang, Sting, Pinetop Perkins and many more. Don't miss this unique artist, she will put on a captivating show.

“The blues is an emotionally pure form of music. If you’re not speaking from the heart with true emotion or being honest with who you are...you will be revealed.”
